| 50 kilometers away from Yalong Bay, in the downtown area of Maling Mountain, Tianya Town, there is the well-known, beautiful scenic spot, the End of the Earth. The sea and mountains surround it. On a couple of gray, huge stones, with over 10 meters in height and over 60 meters in length on the beach, the two Chinese words ˇ°TianYaˇ± and ˇ°Haijiaoˇ± are engraved. Hence comes the name ˇ°Tianya Haijiaoˇ±. In the park, there are various entertainment facilities such as a swimming pool, fishing area, yachts and so on. Of the two main buildings, one is modern and the other is classical and traditional garden style. These buildings connect with 8 sightseeing and recreational programs such as Sea Bird Park, Crocodile Park, Turtle Park to name a few. There are more than 400 tropical marine organisms, such as panther-striped shark, white-fin shark, Spanish mackerel and living corals on show in the tropical aquarium. Sea Bird Park, Crocodile Park, Turtle Park separately show the tourists various kinds of rare birds, parrots, rare green turtles and one huge crocodile introduced from Thailand. A variety of performances by dolphins, sea lions, crocodiles and sea birds are on show every day. |
