You can take a boat from Xincun
Port, Lingshui County to the opposite bank,
Nanwan Monkey Island. Established in 1965,
this rhesus monkey protective region, 100
square kilometers, was built upon the island.
It has different sizes of caves, jagged rocks
of grotesque shapes, shrubberies, trees, and
a variety of fruits.
Nanwan Monkey Island is the only island-scale
monkey natural protective region in China.
